Another fabulously fun quilt meeting.  I know I loved every minute of it.  We missed having a several of our members (we always miss EVERYONE's smiling faces).  I know they are having "things" going on in their lives right now but we hope to see you again soon.  The group passes on our thoughts and prayers to you.  But we also enjoyed having a couple new people attend our meeting.  We hope they had a good time and will want to join our group.

Maggie started off our "Show-n-Tell" time
with a picnic quilt for her daughter.

Maggie showed us another jelly roll quilt she made.
She says is addicted to making them.
 I think it is a good addiction.  : )

Pam showing us a Dresden Plate
designed using paint chips with names
that match first letters of her names.

Bobbie showing us a Bonnie Hunter Quilt she made.
How beautiful!

Pauline showing us her version of the same
Bonnie Hunt quilt.

A block of the month quilt that Pauline made.

Pauline showing a strip pieced Star Block
 which is a "Quilt-As-You-Go" block.
Hmm maybe she might show us at our quilt retreat in Oct?

Marsha showing us the quilt that she won
a blue ribbon at HMQS.  Our shining star, Marsha.

A quilt that Marsha and her 11 year old granddaughter made
together from fat quarters.  Her granddaughter quilted it on
Marsha's long arm machine. Love hearing the young quilting.

Charity quilt Marsha and her
granddaughter quilted, also on the long arm.

Belinda showing us her fabulous
Row By Row quilt.  Several of the ladies
 are doing this.

Suzanne showing one of several
 totes she had made.

Then it was time for our exciting trunk show
by Lorri.  My gosh she is an awesome quilter.
Thank you so much for taking the
time to come share your quilts with us!! :)

WOW!!!  Such DETAIL!!

My favorite one of them all.  Many people
know ... I love whimsical.  And to me,
this is just so fun and whimsical.
Just like life should be.  Fun!

I believe she called this quilt, "Desert Rose"
quilt.  We were all so amazed when she said
the only critique she received when it was
judged, was the woman, in the quilt,
dress was too puffy/full in the back.
LOL, that is so silly of the judges.  I think
it made the quilt even more fun and interesting.

And then Lorrie showed her "Barn Quilt".
Again ... FUN!!!  There is a small wooden
bar across the top to hold interchangeable
mini quilts.  A quilt within a quilt!  It makes
a person remember the barns in several
states that have quilt pictures painted on then.

Her February mini quilt to hang on the Barn Quilt.

The November mini quilt for the Barn Quilt.

Then the December mini quilt for the Barn Quilt.

This is the quilt that Lorri designed for her
son who goes to Davis High School.

A close up picture of "Desert Rose" quilt.  I just LOVE
the detail.  Her tube of lipstick.  Her earrings.
  Her puffy sleeves.  Just amazing!!!

Another view of the "Chicken Pox" quilt.  Again ... the detail.
She has little bumps on her face for the pox.

Lorri did a Shop Hop that each shop
provided a block to make.

A pink and black purse with pluming tubing handle
made at K&H Quilt Shoppe class.
