September 9, 2014 Nancy welcomed everyone Fall Retreat - Exciting things are coming up for the Syracuse Quilt Guild, starting with another wonderful retreat planned at My Sister's Quilt Shoppe in Logan, Utah on October 11, 2014. We'll be sewing, gabbing and eating from 10 in the morning to six in the afternoon. It doesn't get much better than that. Nancy sent around an interest sheet to see how many are planning on coming but if you didn't sign up, there is still time to let Nancy know you'd like to come. More info to come.... Block of the Month - Nancy talked about the BOM the guild is starting, completely voluntary for anyone wanting to join in on this fun pattern. She handed out copies of the first month's block which is a 34 inch square block; now that's the way to start things off. She can also email a copy to anyone who didn't get a copy, just let her know.
