Syracuse Quilt Guild November Meeting As winter approaches, at least it feels like it, the Syracuse Quilt Guild kept nice and warm with a wonderful meeting full of  beautiful quilts, news to share and great tips.  Sandra reported that this year's Utah Quilt Fest was a success with the Camp Site being a very popular activity that will probably continue in the future.  We congratulated Belinda for her Quilters First Aid Kit (chocolate being an important item) being shared on Fons and Porter television series.  We also "elected"  the officers for 2016 and so grateful to Jeanette for accepting the presidency for a second year and to Pam stepping up as President elect and Becky will continue as Secretary/Treasurer. Karen's tips for quilters - Jiffy Lube with a Little Tube This month Karen focused on maintaining your sewing machine by cleaning and oiling. She presented a great slide show on how to take apart most machines and clean them out to keep them running

Just Spooktackular What a great meeting of the Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild.  Lots of information and fun quilts. Sandra shared lots of information from the Utah State Quilt Guild including exciting information about the the Guilds 40th Anniversary, the Ruby Jubilee in 2017.  She asked us to start thinking about making a Red and White quilt to go on a road show around the state.  It should be lots of fun.  We also spent some time talking about this year's quilt fest and providing feedback. Block of the Month Big Reveal  Nancy displayed her finished top of the Syracuse Block of the Month we started last fall.  It's a big quilt with a 32 inch center square and 16 inch outer squares.  Very pretty! Winners -  It's always fun drawing for door prizes.  Today's winners were Kathy, Nancy and RoseAnn Guild Quilt for Festival of Trees Finished With fabric donated by Diane, blocks made by members and machine quilted by Diane, our Festiv
