Bingo and Dessert June 2019

Bingo and Dessert

Does it get any better than that?  Desserts galore, so yummy.  I think everyone got a little bit of a sugar high before the end of the day.  There were plenty of great prizes for our annual bingo game.

We did take care of a little business including the following announcements.
  • Someone requested to advertise on our Facebook page or our blog and Suzanne reiterated that we do not take any advertising.
  • Registration for Quilt Fest opens at 6 p.m. on June 21.
  • Safe Harbor cancelled their boutique this year and will not be selling donated quilts
  • Margo read a thank you note from the Holiday Quilt group for the "Safe Haven" Thimbleberry quilt we donated.
  • Syracuse Museum has asked to borrow quilts to display in the museum.  (more info to follow)
  • Utah Quilt Guild is getting rid of the Library and volunteers can meet at the This is the Place Quilt Museum on September 9 at 1:00 p.m. to go through the material.
  • Utah Quilt Guild is seeking an editor for the Beeline.  Contact Marilyn if you would like to do this job.
  • See the https://utahquiltguild.org for all news of the state guild

Sew and Tell

Mardell's pretty patriotic table runner made for Suzanne

And Suzanne's lovely patriotic table runner for Mardell

Anita finished up this beautiful quilt after working on it at a
couple of our sew-ins.  So pretty

Susan shared her adorable little mouse

Jeannette has been canning fruits and veggies.  So fun!

Marlana's beautiful embroidered table runner.  All
ready for next Easter.

And Kathy made this sweet Penguin Quilt.  Lucky
baby getting this one.

Nancy's pretty pinwheel quilt.

Margo made this mini from tiny half square triangles.  Stunning

We always have lots of fun at our meetings celebrating birthdays, door prizes and occasionally treats.  Sorry I didn't get any bingo pictures; I was too busy trying to win some prizes.  No one went home without winning something.  Great fun!
