  Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild Meeting  August 11, 2026 Quilt Guild President, Amy, started off our meeting. Announcements A reminder was given to bring items by next month to d onate to the Quilt Fest basket that is to be auctioned. Pam suggested filling it with Retro Items. Some hand embroidered dish towels were donated by Kathy. Pam has batting at her home that the guild bought for comfort quilts. She also has some backing fabrics. There is money in the Guild that can be also used to buy backing. Utah Quilt Guild Representative, Caroline , says she will quilt Comfort quilts  if given the top, batting, and backing. There is a sale on fabric for $6.99 a yard at Quilts Etc . in Sandy Thursday and Friday, the 14th and 15th of August, from 10am to 5pm. Over 1,000 bolts including brand name fabric. Suggestions are needed for who to give our Comfort quilts to this year. If you have suggestions please let Amy know. We will vote at our next meeting next month. Some of the ...

               Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild Meeting July 15, 2026 Quilt Guild President Ami started off our July meeting this month at  the Syracuse Library (this month only) Next month we will be back at the Syracuse Community Center at 1pm. Announcements Suzanne showed the quilt Block of the Month quilt  made from blocks guild  members sewed using green fabrics. The blocks were all sewn together by Connie. Next month's color is purple. If you missed a month you can still turn in blocks up to the October meeting. (see email  attachment for instructions) The quilts made will be given as Comfort Quilts in December. July 25th is the next Sew-in at the North Davis Senior Center  in Clearfield.  The cost is $2 per person. These Sew-ins occur on the 4th Thursday of the month from 9-5.  Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild Meeting June 9, 2026   Our Syracuse Quilt Guild was commissioned to create a quilt     for the City of Syracuse's new museum to celebrate the United States  250th  anniversary,   as well as historical Syracuse City.         Maria  headed up this amazing project,            and 24 members created  blocks.   Pam quilted, hand bound and labeled it.   It was presented to the Syracuse Museum at our monthly meeting where it will be displayed  beginning with Heritage Days and thereafter.   Pam introduced the Syracuse City Museum Directors.
