Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild Meeting B ecky Thomason called the May 11, 2021, meeting to order at 1:00 pm. I ntroductions of all attendants and new members. Anita Bingham held the drawing for Fat Quarters. Marilyn Steele, Representative from Utah Quilt Guild gave her report. Remote Fest is still accepting registrations through the month of May. Quilt Fest is looking for donations for door prizes. They would like Art Show Baskets for Center Pieces. The theme is “Discover the Artist Within.” Orphan Blocks are also welcome as well. Volunteers are needed for judges in judging room. The Beehive Bulletin would like photos of our quilts. Utah Valley Quilt Guild Fair will be one day in the Big Willow Barn in Lindon, Utah. Springville Art Museum Art Show is coming up (info is available in the Beehive Bulletin.) You can look at the virtual quilt show on UtahQuiltGuild.org . You don’t have to be a member.
