Welcome to 2019 Madam President hides behind her Zinger Block Syracuse Quilters are off to a great start for 2019. "Madam" President Suzanne opened the meeting saying that since she was elected as President of the group, her husband now refers to her as Madam President. However, she is a very warm and friendly Prez and talked about her plans for the coming year. She shared lots of fun ideas and started in December with the Zinger Quilt Blocks. Each month two members can take a package containing an orange "zinger" fabric and some black and white print. They will take it home and bring back their block next month. Later in the year we will put together the blocks for a Zinger Quilt. Some of the other plans for the year include a Sew-In in May with place to be determined. Also instead of a choosing a specific charity to support, each member may choose a charity of their choice to make a quilt. There were so many great opportunities to support inclu
