The Syracuse Quilt Guild started off the year with a great meeting. Jeannette, our new President brought some new ideas and enthusiasm to the job and is looking forward to a great year with the Guild. She shared lots of information and some fun fun ideas for the coming year. She introduced Sandra John, our new Area Rep for the Utah State Quilt Guild. Thanks to Pam White for doing a great job this past year. We hope to see you again. Sandra had a lot of information to share in State Guild. One of the charity quilt drives selected by the new state President, Cindy Hutchinson, is to make quilts for Women's Shelters. She will get more information on sizes as she gets it. Right now she said she knows they can use crib size quilts and probably twin size quilts. Also, instead of the "Booby Blocks", this year there will be a Heart Research Challenge using a pretty green challenge fabric, available for $4. National Quilt Day - M...
