April Windstorms and Snow can't stop the Syracuse Quilters from Meeting On a day that saw the weather go from 70 degrees to 34 degrees and wind gusts hitting 80 mph in Utah, the Syracuse Quilt Guild held a great meeting with lots of wonderful ideas, guests and new members.   Maggie's guest, Julie Tidwell, talked to us about the "Days for Girls http://wwwwdaysforgirls.org organization that makes feminine hygiene kits for girls in third world countries. These kits make a huge difference in the girls lives and their ability to stay in school.   Our group agreed this would be a good project and Jeanette will work on setting something up.  Please look at the link above for more information on this worthwhile cause.
