Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild Due to Veterans Day on November 11th our meeting was moved to Monday November 10, 2025 The meeting was held at the Syracuse Community Center. Teri showed her Scrappy Trip Around the World quilt and taught how to make the block at our Sew-in. Our Quilt Guild put together this beautiful patriotic quilt and presented it to Salvatore Anthony Battista in a Quilt of Valor presentation. He is a 27-year Veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps that served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars and finished up his career maintaining the presidential helicopters for Presidents Carter, Ford and Reagan Ruth from Quilts of Valor presented the Quilt on behalf of the QOV organization. Maria, one of our guild members, is the daughter of the Quilt of Valor recipient. His family attended the presentation.
