Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild
Due to Veterans Day on November 11th our meeting was moved
to Monday November 10, 2025
The meeting was held at the Syracuse Community Center.
Our Quilt Guild put together this beautiful patriotic quilt and presented it
to Salvatore Anthony Battista in a Quilt of Valor presentation.
He is a 27-year Veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps
that served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars
and finished up his career maintaining
the presidential helicopters for Presidents Carter, Ford and Reagan
Ruth from Quilts of Valor presented the Quilt on behalf of the QOV organization.
Maria, one of our guild members, is the daughter of the Quilt of Valor recipient.
His family attended the presentation.
Pam finished her amazing wool applique hand embroidered quilt
that she has been working on for four years just in time for Christmas.
This beautiful batik quilt was pieced by one of our former guild members, Margo,
who has since passed away.
Kathy finished the outer borders. Pam quilted and bound it.
We held a drawing amongst our guild members for the lucky person
who got to take it home. Mardell was the winner.
Marie showed a couple of her quilts.
Sheila made this soft quilt for a new grandbaby
An another one for Brexton with added embroidery.
This is a pretty quilt Kathy made using the similar pattern blocks
around the outside of the quilt.
Each block looks so different in different color combinations.
Another beautiful quilt from Kathy.
This fun black and orange quilt is perfect for Halloween and fall.
What a pretty blue and pink fan block quilt.
