Syracuse Quilt Guild February 13, 2024 The quilt guild met for a wonderful day of sewing, chatting and lunch. We started sewing at 10 and had a catered lunch from Kneaders followed by a regular meeting. What a fun day. We celebrated Nancy two years since her diagnosis, Hanging in like a champ! A comfort quilt Lorri making disappearing 4 patch blocks And Mardell makes disappearing four patches Janet's amazing map quilt A beautifully soft little lamb lots of sewing and chatting Pam's gorgeous St Patty quilt And the back of Pam's quilt Maribeth made a reversible Checkers Game and Tic Tac Toe game Just too cute bathing beauties Nancy Don't miss next month when we will play Bingo so start going through your extra stuff and treasures to supply prizes for this fun game.

Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild Meeting February 13, 2024 πππHappy Valentine's Monthπππ Nancy and Kathie took charge of our meeting. Announcements Dues for our Guild are $15 and are to be given to Pam Next month is our Sew-In from 10am -3pm at the Syracuse Community Center. We will be working on Comfort Quilts. Bring your own fabric to make a quilt top. Pam has batting for the quilts we make. Pizza will be provided, bring some snacks and your own drink. Nancy will supply cake for dessert in celebration of her 2 year mark since she was diagnosed with cancer. We are so happy to have her in our Guild. Suzanne updated us on news from the Utah State Guild. The Quilted Beehive has Sew-Ins to make Charity Quilts at their shop every 2nd Monday. Pam suggested we have a speaker come to our guild to teach us how to quilt on on our home sewing machines. We welcomed Ruth who came to our Guild for the first time. Sew and Tell Susan showed a couple of wool quilts she has been working on

Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild January 9, 2024 Syracuse Utah Quilters meet in the Syracuse Community Center on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 1pm. Dues for the Syracuse Quilt Guild are $15. It's time to register for the Utah Quilt Guild. A count was taken as to who would be willing to make a lap quilt this year. About 25 are needed. It was suggested to add ties so they don't slip off those in wheelchairs. Sizes to make: Width 26" - 45" and "40 - 50" in length Our Utah Quilt Guild Representative, Suzanne, has fat quarters for Christmas House Blocks. They are to be 12 1/2" unfinished. Quilt Fest 2024 will be August 20th - 24th. at the Davis Conference Center in Layton She announced that Quilt Fest needs more teachers for classes, especially for night classes. Apply by the 14th of January. Classes could be on technique or lectures. Buy tickets online for the Opportunity Quilt using a debit or credit card. They are 6 for $5 Most of the meeting was
