This was our annual  Quilt Bingo Meeting
Guild members bring things from home as prizes. It's always a lot of fun.
We welcomed Lily who wants to join us.

QUILT FEST 2024

Quilt Fest is going to be August 20th - 24th at the Layton Conference Center.
Tickets are available for the Quilt Fest Raffle quilt for $1 for one or $5 for 6 from Suzanne.
Classes are now online if you want to see what they will be.
UQG Member NONREFUNDABLE Registration Fee $30.

Laurie started this quilt 20 years ago and was happy to finish it.
 She also made this fun flannel quilt from scraps left over from making bibs.  


Mary Ann showed this cute Missouri Star bag she sewed.

Marybeth made this happy scrappy half- square triangle quilt.



Becky made this bright colored Jelly Roll quilt to donate as a Comfort quilt.



Nancy's husband is learning to quilt on her longarm machine.  This is quilt #4 for him.
Nancy quilted this pretty "cheater" hexagon Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt.



A visiting friend from St. George, Janelle, showed this beautiful 
blue and white Quatrefoil quilt.


Another pretty two  color quilt.  


This gorgeous applique quilt made by Kathy was a year long class at Nuttall's.

 November 14, 2023   President Maribeth welcomed everyone to the meeting and introduced guests and new members. It was reported that the basket donated by the Syracuse Guild to the silent auction at Quiltfest brought in $150.   Amazing and thank you to Nancy who put the basket together. Door prizes were awarded and birthdays recognized.   The group voted to hold our Christmas Luncheon on December 12 at Chris’ Café in Clearfield.   More information will be shared prior to the luncheon.      State Quilt Guild Announcements:   Suzanne, our Area Representative gave an update on Quilltfest, including the fact that Quilltfest has been moved up to August 20-24 due to scheduling issues in October.   More details are available online at Utah Quilt Guild.org.   The guilds are being asked to perhaps donate luncheon table prizes for next year.   Also reminded that the Auction baskets must include only new materials.   They also need lots of volunteers to pull off a successful fest.  Syracuse Utah Quilters December 24 The Syracuse Utah Quilters gathered at Chris' Cafe in Clearfield for our annual Christmas lunch and get together.  It was a great time with good food, good friends and fun gifts for all.  A drawing was held for the guild quilt made earlier this year and the lucky winner was Lorraine. June 14th Quilt Guild Meeting

Janet showed her fall tree quilt made with yoyos. Janet also showed her red and white hexagon flowers that she has been working on. Barbara shared her amazing row quilt. Nancy finished her Christmas quilt and updated us on herself and Margo's health challenges. Pam made this fun quilt that she donated to Jennifer's charity project.
