from a couple months ago.

Suzanne said that the Utah Quilt Guild is looking for people
to do demos and teach classes for next year.
The charm quilts use rectangles 2" x 3 1/2" to make a 9" block

Our special guests Ina and Debbie were from InDe'B Quilt Shop
Ina demonstrated how to use the Stripology rulers used to cut strips, squares, binding, etc.

She also told us about a product made by Acorn called Easy Pressing that
she uses it on the seam to press them flat.

There are some wonderful serrated edge scissors, a couple of metal rods for turning
the edges and a glue to hold the edges down.
There are precut hexies available that iron on and don't have to be removed..
They brought with them some great prizes that were given to those whose names they drew.

Sew and Tell
Barbara brought a sampler quilt she finished from a Block of the Month
at Sew-N- Save from 2019.
She also showed a pretty quilt with lots of gold sparkle.
Becky started this gray and white quilt at Quilt Fest. She backed it with fleece.
Becky finished these beautiful Log Cabin quilts from blocks made by Stormy.
They are all the same blocks but three different settings.
Nancy showed her lovely finished quilt that was quilted by Pam.
She also shared her fun quilt that was a souvenir from a Cruise she took.
Marlene made some red, white and blue placemats and a cute pumpkin.
Hollie showed this fun pumpkin quilt and a beautiful quilt she is working on.
Teri is new to our group. This was her first quilt she started some years ago.
Ruth brought her beautiful six pointed star quilt that represents her six children.
It hung in the State Capitol in Colorado.
Marianne showed her God and Country Quilt.
Jennifer quilted it with a star design.
Connie made a 4 patch scrap quilt using gingham and then another one adding some plaids and solids.
Nancy gave away her 3-D pinwheel quilt to a lucky winner.
She won the blocks at a past Guild meeting.
Nancy also brought some fabric and other freebees for the taking.
She's cleaning out.
Amy showed this pretty fabric notebook holder from a pattern by Arabesque-Scissors.com
This amazing hexagon quilt was given to Susan and she wants to give it to the Guild.
Jennifer says she will quilt it and then it will be raffled.
