Sew and Tell

Nancy showed off her bag she bought in Moab that says
"I'm retired - Quilting is My Job"

A quilt that Margo made that was given to Mardell.

Mardell went to a quilt retreat and made these two charity quilts for youth that have
aged out of the Foster System.

Maribeth made this cute tulip and pinwheel quilt to hang up for Spring.
She bought some fun panda and flamingo fabric on her cruise to Puerto Vallarta.

Ruth's pretty Spring Jacket is called "Bloom Where you Are Planted."
She had one block left over.

This beautiful blue quilt is for Pauline's niece.

Kathy sewed these two bags.   The above bag was from a pattern she picked up at                                                            last month's meeting.

This graduation T-shirt quilt is for Kathy's grandson.

Kathy made this wool heart table runner and also
a spring runner from fabric from last month's meeting.

The pretty purple and lavender applique quilt Becky titled "Violets in the Snow."
She quilted the turquoise and orange quilt on her sit down longarm machine.

Jeanette showed a bag made from hexagons purchased through One Common Threads
and made by a woman who lives in Honduras.
The table runner is from fabric designed by Kaffe Fassett.

Susan finished and quilted a quilt from blocks made by Stormy.

Susan also finished a couple of quilts from quilt tops made by Margo.

This beautiful Easter Kimberbell pillow was made by Nancy.

Jan made this darling pastel bunny quilt.

Pam showed her beautiful Dresden plate quilt called "Here Comes the Sun."

This quilt was donated to our guild from Margo's collection.
As she made many comfort quilts it was decided to donate it as a comfort quilt.

We finished off the Birthday party by playing a fun slot machine game for quilting prizes.

Goodies and Prizes

Happy Quilting, Happy Spring!
Jeanette
