Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild

We had 30 of our Guild members attend our Christmas Holiday Celebration 

luncheon at Chris' Cafe in Clearfield.

Our outgoing President, Pam, held the drawing for the 

26 raw edge appliqued flower blocks made by guild members.

Maribeth won them.

There was also a drawing for those who donated the Comfort Quilts this year.

Janet won and received a gift card to our local quilt shop, Sew-N-Save.







There are many wonderful women and quilters who are in our Quilt Guild.



The final remaining Comfort quilts were gathered at our meeting and some of our Guild

members took them to The Abbington Senior Living Center in Layton.

There were about 80 quilts donated.

Merry Christmas 🎄and Happy New Year 🎊

  Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild September 9, 2025 We had an amazing guest speaker, Nannette Holmberg,   the talented creator of Chenille-It Blooming Bias Tape . She demonstrated how to apply her Chenille-It to our quilts and had a trunk show of her many beautiful quilts. She also told us about her interesting background as a clothing designer  of wedding dresses.  Check out her web pages.   Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild Meeting August 12, 2025 We were asked to bring baby quilts to show. Pam welcomed everyone to our meeting. Announcements: Monthly Sew-in on August 28th and September 25th 9am - 5pm At the North Davis Senior Center, 42 State Street, Clearfield Bring a lunch, $2, sewing machine and extension cords. Next Month's Special Guest, Nannette Holmberg , who is the creator of Chenille-It  will bring a trunk show and product to buy. Bring  your friends. No Show and Tell in September. The Aviary Quilt Show is at the Brigham City Museum thru September 27th. The Quilt will go to Lori's nephew who served two tours as a Marine in Afghanistan.   Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild Meeting April 8, 2025 Syracuse Community Center - 2nd Tuesday at 1pm Quilt Guild President, Pam, opened our Birthday Party Celebration. Announcements A Sew-in i s scheduled  for Thursday, April 24th and May 22nd    at the  North Davis Senior Center in Clearfield from 9:00am - 5:00pm Our guild will be going to tour Handi Quilter Thursday, May 15th.   Meet at the Community Center at 9:30 to carpool. Plan on going to lunch after. Pam passed out fabric patterns and kits for the red white and blue Quilts of Valor quilt we are making as a guild. Return the block next month.  Margo's brother is taking over  selling her fabric, thread, books, and sewing machines . Pam has his phone number if you are interested.
