  Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild September 9, 2025 We had an amazing guest speaker, Nannette Holmberg,   the talented creator of Chenille-It Blooming Bias Tape . She demonstrated how to apply her Chenille-It to our quilts and had a trunk show of her many beautiful quilts. She also told us about her interesting background as a clothing designer  of wedding dresses.  Check out her web pages. Announcements Pam reminded us to wear our name tags so we can get to know each other. Thanks to Nancy for bringing a kit to give to one lucky person. The next Sew In will be Thursday September 25th, from 9 - 5  at the North Davis  Senior Center in Clearfield.   Bring your machine, extension cord, lunch, and $2.00 Our next meeting will be October 14th.   Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild Meeting August 12, 2025 We were asked to bring baby quilts to show. Pam welcomed everyone to our meeting. Announcements: Monthly Sew-in on August 28th and September 25th 9am - 5pm At the North Davis Senior Center, 42 State Street, Clearfield Bring a lunch, $2, sewing machine and extension cords. Next Month's Special Guest, Nannette Holmberg , who is the creator of Chenille-It  will bring a trunk show and product to buy. Bring  your friends. No Show and Tell in September. The Aviary Quilt Show is at the Brigham City Museum thru September 27th. The Utah Quilt Heritage Collection  Check out the history at https://tinyurl.com/quiltquild Pam showed the Quilt of Valor quilt she put together from blocks made from members. The Quilt will go to Lori's nephew who served two tours as a Marine in Afghanistan.  Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild Meeting October 14, 2025 Announcements Our next Sew-in October 23rd, 9am-5pm  at the North Davis Senior Center,  in Clearfield.    Bring your machine, extension cord, lunch, and $2.00 Next month there will be a Sew-in at the Syracuse Community Center on Monday, November 10th, 10am-3pm.   This will take place of our regular 2nd Tuesday Meeting. We will also be electing new officers for next year. As an incentive to attend the meeting the above quilt will be drawn for. It was partially pieced by Margo and Kathy finished piecing it. Pam will quilt it. The finished Quilt of Valor will be going to Maria's 90 year old father who served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. Turn in the raw edge flower blocks by next month.   December Christmas Party There will be a drawing for the flower blocks at our Christmas Party on the 2nd Tuesday in December.  It will be held at  Chris' Cafe in Clearfield.   Meet at no...
