National Quilt Day at Legacy Village

National Quilt Day Celebration

We had a very successful day at the National Quilt Day Celebration at the Legacy Village in Layton.  Thanks to everyone who helped out as well as all the great items donated for our craft sale.  We did very well and had a lot of fun.  I was having such a good time looking at all the quilts and watching the trunk show I forgot to take very many pictures.  Luckily the Ogden Standard Examiner took some great pictures of the event at http://www.standard.net/slideshows/2014/03/22/faces-quilt-celebration?page=1%2c0  I did take a couple of pictures

Nancy and Marsha enjoying the show.  Everyone wanted
to vote for Pauline's red quilt.  They couldn't believe we made it as
a guild and then Pauline won it in a Christmas drawing.  Lucky Lady!

Aren't those sweaters cute?

What a great two days, so many pretty quilts to admire and new friends around every corner.  Everyone enjoyed learning how to make the three seam 10 minute block we were demonstrating  Thanks everyone for the support!
