Syracuse Quilt Guild October 14, 2014
So much eye candy today, what a wonderful meeting with not One but TWO trunk shows. Nancy talked about the fun time we had at quilt retreat last Saturday. (scroll on down to take a look at some of the fun that went on.)
Guild Updates
November's meeting will include elections for next year's officers with Jeannette moving into the President's seat and Becky agreeing to stay on as Secretary/Treasurer if the group wants So we really just need to elect a Vice-President who then moves to President the following year. Nancy asked everyone to please consider running for this office. The November meeting falls on Veterans' Day, November 11, but the group agreed to go ahead and hold the meeting on that day.
December's meeting will be our Christmas Luncheon to be held at Marie Callendar's in Layton, on December 9, 2014 at 1:00.
Jolene Park Trunk Show
So many gorgeous quilts and Jolene shared her quilting story with us, always so interesting to hear how a quilter got her start. Loved her Sunbonnet Sue made from scraps of dresses and shirts.
