Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild Meeting November 12, 2024 President Maribeth put together some of the blocks from our fabric stripping activity from a couple months ago. Announcements December 10th will be our Christmas Party at Chris' Cafe at 56 E. 1700 S., Clearfield 12:45 p.m. Bring fabric that equals 1 yard for the Gift Exchange Comfort Quilts will be gathered at that time. President Maribeth asked for volunteers for Guild Positions for next year. Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild Meeting April 8, 2025 Syracuse Community Center - 2nd Tuesday at 1pm Quilt Guild President, Pam, opened our Birthday Party Celebration. Announcements A Sew-in i s scheduled for Thursday, April 24th and May 22nd at the North Davis Senior Center in Clearfield from 9:00am - 5:00pm Our guild will be going to tour Handi Quilter Thursday, May 15th. Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild June 10, 2025 This month's meeting was held at the Layton Library as the Syracuse Community Center was not available. Guild members brought their Patriotic quilts to show and also brought their favorite sewing gadgets to share. Announcements The next Sew-In will be Thursday, June 26th (4th Thursday) from 9am - 5pm at the North Davis Senior Center in Clearfield. Cost is $2 Bring your own extension cord. Members turned in their Quilt of Valor blocks and some took them home to assemble a row. If you belong to the Utah Quilt Guild you are asked to log into the updated site. One of the Whisper Cove residents who received a comfort quilt from our guild sent a thank you note and a $200 donation to our guild. It was decided to use the money to buy backing for future comfort quilts.
