Quilter's Attic in Bountiful Utah

The Syracuse Quilt Guild met at Quilter's Attic in Bountiful on September 8, 2015, where we were met with a very accommodating staff and lots of beautiful fabrics and projects.  It was so hard not to spend more than you budgeted for the day and some were more successful than others.  Jeanette provided a beautiful lunch of sandwiches with fruit and veggies from her garden.  Delish!

What a fun day of sewing, shopping, eating and talking.  Next month we will have our regular meeting at the Syracuse Community Center on October 13, at 1:00.  Hope to see you all there.

May Quilt Bingo

May 10, 2022 was the Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild Bingo.  It is an ongoing annual tradition for our guild. Everyone is asked to bring items for prizes, and desserts or treats.  There were lots of prizes to choose from and four gift cards bought by the guild were won at the end of the Bingo. Our Utah Quit Guild Representative, Marilyn updated us on upcoming virtual quilt shows including Gems, Dance, and Tribute. Shop Hop is in progress this week.  Hours are 10-6 weekdays and 10-5 on Saturday.  Tickets are available online. Marilyn passed out discount coupons and information for the Salt Lake Quilt, Craft & Sewing Festival to be held May 19th, 20th and 21st, at the Mountain America Expo Center. Utah Quilt Guild Fest brochures will only be online this year.  There will be a member mall.   Members may sell their quilts at Quilt Fest.  Nominations for the Silver Thimble Award are open.   The Block of the Month is on the Utah Quilt Guild webs...

 Syracuse Quilt Guild April 2022 The April meeting of the Syracuse Quilt Guild was a great meeting, sharing lots of information and beautiful quilts.  We also turned in the doll quilts and gowns for our charity project, A Doll Like Me, which provides dolls that look like children with different disabilities or health problems.  What a fun project.  We also enjoyed all the gorgeous quilts that our guest, Ruth Davis, shared in a special trunk show. Sew and Tell Barbara shows off Anita's doll quilt.
