Syracuse Quilt Guild November Meeting
As winter approaches, at least it feels like it, the Syracuse Quilt Guild kept nice and warm with a wonderful meeting full of beautiful quilts, news to share and great tips. Sandra reported that this year's Utah Quilt Fest was a success with the Camp Site being a very popular activity that will probably continue in the future. We congratulated Belinda for her Quilters First Aid Kit (chocolate being an important item) being shared on Fons and Porter television series. We also "elected" the officers for 2016 and so grateful to Jeanette for accepting the presidency for a second year and to Pam stepping up as President elect and Becky will continue as Secretary/Treasurer.
Karen's tips for quilters - Jiffy Lube with a Little Tube
This month Karen focused on maintaining your sewing machine by cleaning and oiling. She presented a great slide show on how to take apart most machines and clean them out to keep them running their best.

Ruth Davis of Ruthie Quilts and Quilts
We were delighted to have a Trunk Show presented by Ruth Davis who has a beautiful collection of quilts she has done. We are posting some pictures here and you can find more pictures and stories on her blog

Another great meeting to inspire us to go home and get busy on all those projects. Hard to believe but our next meeting will be our Christmas Luncheon taking place at Hug Hess in Syracuse. Can't wait to see everyone there.
