Hey Quilters!

We had a great meeting this month!  There was only one announcement from Sandra and the UQG:
There is a new UFO challenge for next year.  Please click here to go the UQG website and check out the rules.

We held elections for 2018.  Our new officers are:
President: Margo
President Elect: THIS COULD BE YOU! We still need someone to fill this position.
Treasurer: Amy
Secretary: Becky
Program Chair: Suzanne, Karen & Anita
Thanks to everyone who is sharing their amazing talents with us this next year in these capacities!

For Sew and Tell I will let the pictures do the talking!

Kim finished this quilt she has been working on for the past year

Margo found some great fabric in her stash and sewed up a BUNCH of great comfort quilts

Belinda showed us one of multiple quilts she made like this for her family for Christmas this year

Yvonne created this cute Halloween quilt from all the leftover blocks from former projects

Jeanette finished up another one of the tops that Stormy started

And she made this cute Jelly Roll Race Quilt too

Her daughter quilted it up with Minky on the back that really show off her gorgeous free motion quilting

Anita, our newest member, showed off this stunner make with log cabin blocks that she arranged in a non-traditional way

Amy finished up this cute table runner from Quilt Fest

Suzanne made this gorgeous JRR quilt for her son-in-law for Christmas this year - she hopes it long enough for him!

And she has this fall quilt made for her daughter made from the leftovers from the other fall quilts she's made

Suzanne also has this great solids quilt top finished up for her husband for Christmas

And her backs are always amazingly pieced from all the leftovers from her tops

Becky made this cute table runner

And this one also - so fun for Christmas!

Karen made these cute mumus for her grandbabies

Karen made these 3 fun quilts for for her grandsons

And Marilyn finished off the sew and tell with this great finish where she learned about adding extra length to backs for quilting!

For our main event, we had Luann Farr from Winline Textiles come and talk to us about batting.

Next month we will be having our annual Christmas party at the Hug Hes Cafe on Dec 12 1 pm.
See you then!
