Summer Potluck and Meeting
The June meeting included a wonderful potluck luncheon and "Bingo" summer celebration. Considering we had a really small group, we had a lot of very yummy food. We all want Sandra's recipe for her delicious strawberry salad; so good!
Sandra shared a lot of great information coming out of the State Guild and reminded everyone that a membership in the Utah State Guild is worth great discounts at Quilt Fest in September as well as discounts at your local quilt shops. There are lots of great quilt shows and events coming up this summer. Check out the state guild website for information on events and membership at

Such a great lunch, everything from fruit and pasta salads and meatballs to yummy dessert. No one went away hungry or without leftovers.

We were supposed to play Bingo but due to our small group we decided to skip the game and go straight to the prizes. There were many wonderful donated prizes along with some great jelly rolls and fat quarters provided by the club.
Next month the guild will meet at the Community Center at 10:00, a.m., July 10 for a trip to the Brigham City International Quilt Show followed by traveling to Brigham City for shopping and lunch. Don't miss out on this great day.
