July Road Trip


Road Trip to Logan and Brigham City

The Syracuse Quilt Guild had a great day on the road to Brigham City and Logan.  We started at the Beehive Grill in Logan with a wonderful lunch.  We all oo'd and ah'd at the menu selections.    After a wonderful lunch and lots of talk we headed up the street to a couple of quilt shops.  We hit the Clover Patch, Stylish Fabrics and My Girlfriend's Quilt Shop.

 The Brigham City International Quilt Show

This quilt of the statue David was made up of thousands of 3/4" finished squares and looked different as you moved around the room.  It was pretty amazing work.

 This quilt was full of lovely embroidery work and 3D elements as you can see in this photo and the one below.

buy anything but managed to pick up
something at each quilt shop.
















It was a wonderful getaway and hope to see you all next month.

June 14th Quilt Guild Meeting

Janet showed her fall tree quilt made with yoyos. Janet also showed her red and white hexagon flowers that she has been working on. Barbara shared her amazing row quilt. Nancy finished her Christmas quilt and updated us on herself and Margo's health challenges. Pam made this fun quilt that she donated to Jennifer's charity project.
