December 11, 2018 Christmas Lunch

So much yummy food

Christmas Lunch

The Syracuse Quilt Guild met at the Syracuse Community Center for a wonderful luncheon of Ham and all the trimmings.  Everyone had plenty to eat and boy do we know how to do desserts.  Yum Yum.

 Christmas Gift Exchange

This year each member brought a gift of one yard of fabric, either a one-yard cut, two half-yard cuts or four fat quarters wrapped and ready for gifting.  We held a Yankee Swap and each of us could choose a wrapped gift or steal someone else's gift  It was a lot of fun and everyone got some very nice fabrics.

Hmmmm Nancy, can't decide?

Sew and Tell

Becky modeled her Christmas tree skirt as a cape, skirt, etc.  A very useful project.

We wanted to thank Margo for all her hard work this year as our President and presented her with this gorgeous crazy quilt bag made by Suzanne.  Tucked inside the bag were lots of fat quarters, and some fun tools.  Again thank you Margo.  The guild also presented thank you gifts to Sandra for the work she has done as our Area Rep and to Becky and Suzanne for their work for the guild this year.  Looking forward to next year.
