Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild April Meeting
This blog entry may be a little short and sweet. Thanks so much to Nancy for taking pictures and notes during my absence. I had a wonderful trip but did miss you all and my sewing machine.
Marilyn, our area rep, gave some updates.
- She spoke about UQSM
(which unfortunately is over now) looking for volunteers.
- Mentioned the upcoming
Springville Quilt Show, July 27 - Sep 21
- Ruby Jubilee book coming
soon. If you order they are $15.
- Need a new editor
for the Utah Beeline Newsletter, due to the present one is going on a
mission in July.
- There is a year 2020 calendar of pictures of the Opportunity
Quilt for sale. They are $10 a piece and will be for sale at UQSM
- Be ready to
volunteer for Quilt Fest
Suzanne spoke about:
- The upcoming Shop Hop May 29 - Jun1st.
Passports on sale Apr 15th, at participating stores, i.e. Sew &
Save, My Heritage Fabrics, and K&H Fabrics
- There are still some FQs of the
"BUM" fabric.
- Next meeting, May 14th, is our Sew-In at
"Jewel's Quilt Shop" in Bountiful. It will start at 10am
and run to 3pm.
- The 3 FQs Table Runner is due next month. If you can't make it to the Sew-In that day, please try to give it to someone that is attending
