Suzanne opened the meeting with a few announcements and sent around a list for luncheon signups at Quilt Fest. Lots of classes still available if you haven't signed up.
Zinger Day
Suzanne brought all the blocks using the orange Zinger fabric. We decided to donate the finished top and Margo said she would put the quilt together. All the blocks turned out great, will certainly make a nice quilt.
BUM Challenge (aka Butt ugly material)
We were given a challenge to make a project out of some "lovely" orange metallic fabric selected by Suzanne's husband. The Syracuse quilters stepped up to the challenge and made some very pretty projects out of this fabric. The winner, Mary Beth received a gift certificate to Sew and Save to pick out some "pretty" fabric

Nancy finished up the meeting with a demonstration of how to make the very cute and useful tissue holders. I see lots of folks getting these little items as gifts this year.
What a great meeting. Next month we will make a road trip to the Brigham City international quilt show. We will meet at the Community Center to carpool up. More info will come as we approach the meeting.
