Trip to Brigham City International Quilt Show

We were a small but happy group that traveled to Brigham City to take in all the quilts at the International Quilt Show.  So many different techniques and subject matter expressed through quilting.

We met at the community center to drive up and Marilyn checked in with us and said they really need volunteers to help with the quilt show during quilt fest.  If you can sign up, please consider helping out.

Japanese Internment during WWII with beautiful
very elaborate quilting

This amazing quilt was done all out of leather, picture does
not do it justice.

Yes, this quilt has lights in it.

Heads up that next month we will meet on Tuesday, September 10, for a sew day at the Community Center starting at 10:00 a.m. with a regular meeting at 1:00 p.m. with a demo on designing different quilt backings.
