Sew and Tell
Drawing names for door prizes |
Our Zinger Quilt top finished thanks to Margo. Quilt will go to the Holiday Quilts for quilting and auction. |
What a fun quilt Margo, using Kaffe Fasset fabrics |
And a cute dresser scarf with the scraps |
Linda's lovely Hexi project in process, started out to be a queen size, moved on to lap quilt and decided a nice table topper. We all understand that outcome with hand work |
Mary Beth's cute Easter table runner finished up |
Crystal told us the story of this lovely quilt several generations and years in completing. |
Kathy showed us this sweet shop hop quilt started when she lived in Washington and finally finished. Very cute. |
Teri's pretty blue churn dash |
And another pretty finish from Teri; a "cozy" quilt for her husband |
Jennifer's cute Caterpillar quilt celebrating 50 years for this "very fun children's book" |
A manly quilt for a prospective Grandson-in-law from Anita |
Susan's pretty quilt is a panel. Finished up so pretty |
Susan's pretty July quilt that she might get quilted for next July |
Jeanette's mini-shamrock topper from blocks made by guild members during a block challenge |
Jeanette's been canning vegetables and fruit, so cute |
Different types of Quilt Backing
Suzanne discussed different ways of backing your quilts. With this first one she showed, it had a plain white backing fabric which shows off your quilting.
The front of this pretty red quilt |
And here is the back, using leftover scraps to piece into the back. |
A fun modern quilt front |
And here's the back, just as fun as the front |
