 Syracuse Quilt Guild April 2022

The April meeting of the Syracuse Quilt Guild was a great meeting, sharing lots of information and beautiful quilts.  We also turned in the doll quilts and gowns for our charity project, A Doll Like Me, which provides dolls that look like children with different disabilities or health problems.  What a fun project.  We also enjoyed all the gorgeous quilts that our guest, Ruth Davis, shared in a special trunk show.

  Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild September 9, 2025 We had an amazing guest speaker, Nannette Holmberg,   the talented creator of Chenille-It Blooming Bias Tape . She demonstrated how to apply her Chenille-It to our quilts and had a trunk show of her many beautiful quilts. She also told us about her interesting background as a clothing designer  of wedding dresses.  Check out her web pages.   Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild Meeting August 12, 2025 We were asked to bring baby quilts to show. Pam welcomed everyone to our meeting. Announcements: Monthly Sew-in on August 28th and September 25th 9am - 5pm At the North Davis Senior Center, 42 State Street, Clearfield Bring a lunch, $2, sewing machine and extension cords. Next Month's Special Guest, Nannette Holmberg , who is the creator of Chenille-It  will bring a trunk show and product to buy. Bring  your friends. No Show and Tell in September. The Aviary Quilt Show is at the Brigham City Museum thru September 27th. The Quilt will go to Lori's nephew who served two tours as a Marine in Afghanistan.  Syracuse Utah Quilt Guild Meeting November 12, 2024 President Maribeth put together some of the blocks from our fabric stripping activity  from a couple months ago. Announcements December 10th will be our Christmas Party at Chris' Cafe at 56 E. 1700 S., Clearfield 12:45 p.m. Bring fabric that equals 1 yard for the Gift Exchange Comfort Quilts will be gathered at that time. President Maribeth asked for volunteers for Guild Positions for next year. Thanks to those who volunteered Pam - President Kathy - Vice President Lori - Secretary Becky - Treasurer Susan - Door Prizes Marianne - Birthdays Jeanette - Blog Suzanne said that the Utah Quilt Guild is looking for people  to do demos and teach classes for next year.
