Announcements

Maribeth welcomed four guests at our meeting that was held in the Syracuse Library.

It is $15 to join for one year.  

Next month on the 13th we will be back at the Syracuse Community Center.

Our good friend & quilter, Stormy, is moving and donated

enough blocks for 7 quilts for when we have a Sew-In.

If we want to do a retreat Holly, Susan's daughter-in-law has a cabin, 

at Timber Lake Retreat, 7 bedrooms, loft, and sewing tables.

Lori Whitlock, who came last month has a new fabric line for Christmas.


Here are our blocks made from our ugly fabric strips from last month


Kathy gave us a pattern for this" Christmas Present" block with a 3-D Bow.
Each of us are to make one block on a white background 
for a drawing at our Christmas party.

Sew and Tell


Nancy demonstrated how these Tru-Cut Grace Company rulers work.

 Nancy wants to gift this quilt.  There will be a drawing next month.


This "Exploding Square in a Square" quilt block makes a quick easy quilt.  


A beautiful way to use up scraps Laurie.



Marianne's beginnings of a quilt called "God and Country" with Flags and Crosses.


Pam made this amazing photograph quilt for the youth Trek Leaders.


Janet made this cute pioneer hat that is also an apron.


Susan showed this comfort quilt.  It looks pieced but it's not.


Anita made these two quilts to donate as comfort quilts.


Kathy showed this fun quilt called "Dogs in Sweaters."



These Amazing quilts are called "Chandelier" and "Harrisonburg." 



                        
Becky has been busy.  Becky called this her ugly quilt, but it's not.                                                       
This "Yellowstone" row by row quilt was a kit that took her 5 years to finish.


What a beautiful quilt Becky and it matches your outfit. 
She also sewed a pretty Pineapple wall quilt

Next month on the 13th we will be back at the Syracuse Community Center.
